10 Best Spanish Pick Up Lines
by Street Talk Savvy
Ask any Spanish speaking woman and she will say that the average Spanish speaking male is very adept at the art of pick up lines. Like most Latin males, French, Brazilian and Italian, the Spanish speaking male prides himself in being “cabelleros-gentleman” and to be always on the ball, when a new woman pops her head around the corner.
In making this statement I would like to say that I don’t mean to take any credit away from the masters of the pick up line the Italians. But there are other people who try to compete in this field, just to keep them on their feet, and that they don’toften miss their target.
These lines are meant for a laugh, maybe break the ice to start a more useful conversation, and maybe take the process of getting to know someone from another culture slowly but smoothly, without too much rush. You migh hear in return Eh! Where Joo Froom? (This is English, with an accent)
So what are some lines that could qualify as top 10 material?
10 Hola muñeca! A que hora sales por el pan?
Hello doll! At what time do you go out for bread?
9 Uy! Quien fuera el pirata que descubrió el tesoro que tienes entre pata y pata?
Oooh! Who was the pirate who discovered the treasure that you have between your legs? (It rhymes in Spanish). Careful, it’s funny but use with caution.
8 Uy! Quien pidió pollo?
Oooh! Who ordered chicken? This is a Colombian saying, which came from checking the menu at a restaurant and when the bill was surprisingly expensive they would say….. So in terms of a pick up line it, means some who has exorbitant or luxurious looks- very attractive.
7 Tantas curvas y yo sin frenos
So many curves and my brakes aren’t working!
6 Ten cuidado Si te da el sol, te derrites bombón.
Be careful, if you get any sun on you, you’ll melt sweetness (bonbon).
5 Crees en amor a primera vista, o debo pasar otra vez?
Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk past again?
4 Cuando te caiste del cielo, mi angel.
When you fell from heaven, my angel
3 Eres como una joya del mar. Besame ahorita cariño mio
You are like a jewel of the sea. Kiss me now darling
2 Si la belleza fuera pecado tu no tendrías perdon de Dios
If beauty was a sin, you would not have God‘s forgiveness
1 Antes de tocar tus labios, quiero tocar tu corazón y antes de conquistar tu cuerpo, quiero conquistar tu amor.
Before touching your lips, I want to touch your heart, and before seducing your body, I want to capture your love.
The idea is to use these in a voice to get a laugh. They are cheesy and some come with appropriate warnings. As a non-native speaker they will probably laugh, which means that it is so funny that you know something like that.
